The East Coast (4-6 May)

We headed out with our boss, Mr. Kim and family on thurs night for a tour of the east coast. We found Gyeonju on the GPS and 306km later we
arrived! We spent the rest of the night in a Jim-Jill-Bang (a kinda motel where there's various sauna rooms, DVD/TV/computer rooms and a massive communal area to sleep on the heated floor). One of the specialties of this one was a 5meter high brick room that you could reach from inside via a small tunnel which was 92 degrees celcius! It was a round room that coned up at the top and it felt like being in a giant chimney!
On Friday it was Buddhas birthday and we went to one of koreas most famous temples, Bulguksa. It was swarmed with people and brightly coloured lanterns and the atmosphere was pretty amazing.
